World-renowned conductor Seiji Ozawa launched this educational opera project in the year 2000 in order to pass on his musical experience and foster the next generation of musical talent. These superb opera stagings feature an orchestra of young musicians selected from international auditions in Japan and Asian nations as well as leading singers and a top production crew. In addition to the public performance, an Opera for Children program will be held for elementary school student in Kyoto Prefecture.
