A new version of Beethoven’s opera “Fidelio”

This production pairs director Motoi Miura, leader of Kyoto-based theater company Chiten, for the first time with conductor Tatsuya Shimono and Kyoto Symphony Orchestra for a new version of Beethoven’s opera “Fidelio” (all 2 acts, with surtitles). The staging presents a whole new kind of opera vision of the kind only ROHM Theatre Kyoto can offer.
