This is a staging of “The Marriage of Figaro”, often said to be the pinnacle of comic opera, by the New National Theatre, Tokyo. With Junichi Hirokami conducting the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra and performed by a leading cast of singers, this is an ideal production to introduce high school students to the joy of opera.
