Take nothing for granted! A circus show overflowing with strength and tenderness

The Quebec-based Agathe & Adrien present N.Ormes, a captivating performance that skillfully blends acrobatics and dance, weaving together powerful and comical physical stunts with storytelling elements. The duo draw on aspects of a circus show such as hand-to-hand acrobatics and Icarian games to deliver a compelling performance.
N.Ormes shares a message about the importance of fully pursuing your dreams and goals, going beyond body and gender norms. Women can be strong and resilient; men can be gentle and vulnerable. Live your life the way you choose, regardless of gender!

Recommended ages: 10 and above (this is a guideline only and there is no age restriction, but please be aware that the performance includes dark and quiet scenes)

About

AGATHE&ADRIEN

AGATHE&ADRIEN

After gaining experience with a leading circus company in Quebec, Canada, the duo embarked on an independent creative practice to express their social and environmental values through what they call “Committed Circus”—a form of circus that embraces a social stance. Their body of work includes Branché, Piece of Mind, Interact, and their latest production, N.Ormes. Across these creations, they have developed their own acrobatic language that moves fluidly between circus, contemporary dance, and performance art. Through minimal scenography, subtle lighting, and dynamic physical expression, their work explores the fragility of human relationships and the fluidity of social roles, while challenging and dismantling established norms and assumptions.
