A new work by Kyoto-based director Nagara Wada,
exploring and seeking out voices that reinterpret the social entanglements of masculinity
How is masculinity framed in society? And what impact does it have on the lives and bodies of individuals? Starting from the director’s own uncertainty about the distance she feels between herself and her supposed femininity, Men’s Tea Party approaches the complexity of the human condition through the theatrical device of playing a man.
