  • My Future: Working in a Theatre

Now in its fifth year, this joint initiative between ROHM Theatre Kyoto and Kyoto City Youth Service Foundation is aimed at young people from fifteen to thirty years of age. The project takes advantage of ROHM Theatre Kyoto as a place that can offer people vocational experience, giving participants the chance to gain foundational knowledge about production from current professionals and come into contact with the various kinds of jobs done at a theatre through hands-on learning about attracting audiences to a performance and welcoming them to the venue, and helping at rehearsals. The program aims to raise awareness of career options among participants, not only for working in theatre venues and the performing arts but also more broadly.
