This is a special two-day music concert marking the ten-year anniversary of goat, the group featuring musician and composer Koshiro Hino, known for his electronic music solo project YPY, the performance event “GEIST,” and collaborations with Kodo Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble. Both dates see goat perform with a rich lineup of guest artists.

goat　

Formed by Koshiro Hino in 2013, this group originally featured four musicians (a guitarist, saxophonist, bassist, and drummer) but currently works as a team of five musicians who change instruments according to the needs of each piece of music. It ignores the scales of ultimate musical instruments to create music from the muted sounds and noises that arise from articulation. Derived from the relentless repetition of trance and harmonic sound stripped of fatigue and the twelve scales, goat’s melodies are both urban/club and ethnic.
