A new work by one of most important living choreographers

The groundbreaking choreographer William Forsythe is a major force in contemporary dance. This performance is based on the main part of A Quiet Evening of Dance, which was presented at leading theatres and festivals around the world in 2018 and 2019 to great acclaim, and also includes an entirely new duet that is receiving its world premiere in Japan. The titular three duets are brought to life by five of the best and most trusted dancers in Forsythe’s company. This is a notably more contemporary piece than Forsythe’s previous work, performed by dancers whose diverse backgrounds include street dance as well as training in ballet or contemporary dance. The result is a must-see event for fans of all types of dance!
