Venue : North Hall
OSUSHI is a Kyoto-based performing arts group, founded by the costume designer Shie Minamino in 2016. It adopts a novel approach whereby the same person is responsible for the writing, directing, and costumes, while the performers explore fabric and text internally and externally. Its theatre performances have a particular focus on art and fashion.
OLTA is an artist group comprising Toru Inoue, Kazuhide Kawamura, Takafumi Saito, Yoshiro Hasegawa, Meguninja, and Jang-Chi. Formed in 2009, it incorporates formal approaches passed on from daily gestures in its practice of installations and performances pursuing primordial human desires and collective memory rooted in a locale. It won the 14th Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art.
